Broken Bow Lake
Broken Bow Lake is a hidden gem of Oklahoma. Created in 1960, this 20-mile lake has 180-miles of shoreline for you and your family to hike and enjoy. The lake has been kept all natural – you won’t find docks or permanent structures almost anywhere along the shoreline. And hiking isn’t the only way to experience this beauty – activities on the lake range from fishing to boating and even scuba diving!
Beavers Bend Hiking Trails
Beavers Bend State Park is a must for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Broken Bow. Hikes range from one mile to 12 miles with a variety of options for every level of hiker. Camp along the longest trail, or take in the sites for a bit on the shortest. No matter what you choose, hiking Beaver Bend is a must during any trip to Broken Bow.
Hochatown State Park & Salt Creek Lodge
Adjacent to Beavers Bend State Park, Hochatown State Park offers scenic backpacking and hiking trails, as well as an 18-hole golf course if that’s more your speed. Just outside of Broken Bow you’ll find Salt Creek Lodge. Take beautiful hikes on foot, or see the scenery by horseback. Visitors also enjoy bird watching and hayrides!
